I'm Joshua Collins. Living in Amsterdam, working with talented people.

From a young age, I was hooked on computers, especially gaming with classics like Age of Empires and Red Alert. Thankfully, my dad shared the tech bug, so we always had a computer and internet at home. I still laugh about our "lightning-fast" 28kb modem, which eventually got an "upgrade" to the notorious 56kb modem, turning our phone line into an unreachable nightmare for nearly a decade.

While I may not have been a coding prodigy at eight, I did start creating websites early on, often about video games and cartoons. As a teenager, my hobby evolved into writing scripts and hacks for games, crafting maps, and building bots. Later, during my late teens, I teamed up with a close friend in a bid to create various websites and, well, get rich! So it's no surprise that this journey led me straight into the world of software engineering.

Now here I am today trying to share what I've learnt (and still learning), about software engineering, leadership and whatever topic I feel worth sharing!
